Install and operate Hermes on a Linux server, VPS, or suitable local environment. Configure providers, profiles, tools, memory, skills, scheduled work, messaging gateways, permissions, logs, backups, and recovery.
Design a governed Slack workspace where people can find approved knowledge, request work, review results, and hand actions to Hermes or another agent without exposing private areas.
Build agents that work from approved sources and return traceable answers. Retrieval, citations, source boundaries, reindexing, and human review are designed as part of the system.
Connect APIs, webhooks, n8n, Vapi, Gmail, calendars, reporting tools, and internal systems with explicit states, retries, deduplication, and operator controls.
Turn scattered evidence into an interface a person can review. Build queues, scoring rubrics, flags, explanations, status controls, and audit trails without automating the final decision.
Exercise the real workflow before release, observe it after deployment, and preserve a safe way back. Verification covers interfaces, APIs, persistence, external delivery, and operator recovery.
